  Two new ensembles are being formed in the greater Kansas City area and are open to all brass and percussionists. Rehearsals will begin in January 2008. If you would like more information about joining please email Helen Tyler at fcbb@fcbb.net.
   
  2nd FCBB Brass Expo Information
   
 

The Fountain City Brass Band is proud to announce this unique opportunity to work with some of Kansas City's finest brass performers and educators. Players of all ages and abilities are invited to join members of the FCBB in an afternoon of rehearsals in a traditional brass band setting, instrument specific sectionals with the FCBB's fine educational team comprised of university professors, and an evening concert culminating in a massed band performance with the FCBB. The FCBB Brass Expo is sponsored by the Fountain City Brass Band and the Fountain City Brass Academy.

The Brass Expo is free of charge.

Sunday, January 20th Schedule:

12:30-1:00 Registration

1:00-2:30 Welcome/Full band warm up and reading session

(Break 15mins)

2:45-4:15 Sectionals (Technique and Repertoire)/Beginner Band

Break (30 mins)

4:45-6:00 Full Academy Band/Beginner Band

6:00-6:30 Massed Band Rehearsal

(1hr break for snacks and to prepare for performance)

7:30-8:30 Performance
