Welcome to the Fountain City Youth Brass Academy! We are excited that you are joining us for another year of exciting, fun and dedicated music-making. The Fountain City Youth Brass Academy (FCYBA) is the educational outreach component of the Fountain City Brass Band (FCBB), North America’s premiere volunteer brass and percussion ensemble. The mission of the FCYBA is to inspire young musicians of all performance ability levels to achieve a high standard of musicianship and to foster a life-long love of music. Weekly Sunday Afternoon Rehearsals Begin for ALL BANDS
JUNIOR BAND Sundays @ SJA, 1:30 – 2:15pm @ SJA (Jenny Akhtar & Rob Foster). Season Fee: $100 ($50 for 2nd child, $25 for 3rd+ child) due at first rehearsal on Jan 8**
YOUTH BAND Sundays @ SJA, 1:45– 3:20pm @ SJA (Patrick Oliverio, Helen Harrelson & Anna Kinkade). Season Fee: $120 ($60 for 2nd child, $30 for 3rd+ child) due at first rehearsal on Nov 27**
HONOR BAND Sundays @ SJA, 3:00 – 5:30pm @ SJA (Paul Bessetti, Jen Oliverio, & Lee Harrelson). Season Fee: $140 ($70 for 2nd child, $35 for 3rd+ child) due at first rehearsal on Oct 30**

NABBA Trip Fees
For those students taking place in the bands traveling to, and competing in, the North American Brass Band Championships there will be an additional fee of $425. A trip deposit of $125 is due by December 18 with January and February payments of $150 due each month. This fee covers transportation to and from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, hotel (based on quadruple occupancy), competition fees, workshops, and some meals. Payments can be made online via the FCYBA website.
