Academy Band/Honor Band

$140 ($70 for 2nd child, $35 for 3rd+ child) season fee*

For those students taking place in the bands traveling to, and competing in, the North American Brass Band Championships there will be an additional fee of $425. This fee covers transportation to and from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, hotel (based on quadruple occupancy), competition fees and some meals.

Youth Band

$120 ($60 for 2nd child, $30 for 3rd+ child) season fee*

Junior Band

$100 ($50 for 2nd child, $25 for 3rd+ child) season fee*

*Scholarships available for students that demonstrate financial need.

Optional Summer Camp

WHEN: May 30-June 4, 2017

STAFF: A world-class staff combined from the Missouri Western State University Department of Music and the internationally acclaimed Fountain City Brass Band … a supervised environment for campers on the campus of MWSU will be provided …

PROGRAM: The MWSU/FCBB Brass & Percussion Camp is open to any brass and percussion enthusiasts from high school or college age and beyond. The program is designed to immerse campers in a well-rounded and fun musical environment. Campers will be placed in large and small ensembles in addition to receiving private instruction from our gifted faculty. Their activities will culminate with a performance with members of the Fountain City Brass Band. The campers’ experience will provide them with the tools and information necessary to enhance their own solo, band and ensemble performances.

FEES: Resident Camper Fee: $375.00 (includes all meals and housing) Commuter Camper Fee: $275.00 (includes all meals)

When you send in your registration form, please include cash, check, money order or credit card information. If not included with your registration form, all fees must be paid in full before Friday, May 5th.

DETAILS: Check-in begins at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30 in the Commons Building near the dormitories, and camp officially ends after the Sunday, June 4th 3:00 pm performance. Parents should arrive between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to pack up their campers’ luggage.
