Isaiah Sterling is a dedicated musician whose passion for percussion and education has shaped his impressive career. He honed his skills at Missouri Western State University, where he studied Music Education and achieved recognition on the President’s List for his outstanding academic performance. In the Fall, he will begin attending the University of Kansas to pursue a Masters degree in Percussion Performance, and will serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Isaiah has served as a Percussion Instructor at Shawnee Mission South High School, Show Choir Band Director at Blue Valley High School, and as a Marching Band Technician at Blue Springs High School. Isaiah’s experience extends beyond the classroom, as he has been an integral part of many renowned musical ensembles. As a member of the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps and the Fountain City Brass Band, he has showcased his talent on prestigious stages, earning accolades and admiration from audiences worldwide. With his wealth of experience and dedication to his craft, Isaiah Sterling continues to inspire and uplift aspiring young musicians through his own private studio.
