The Fountain City Brass Band Expo invites brass and percussionists of all ages and skill levels to join a day of immersive rehearsals and clinics, culminating in a thrilling side-by-side performance with the award-winning Fountain City Brass Band.

2025 Brass Band Expo

Join us for the 2025 Fountain City Brass Expo on Sunday, September 7—a full day of music, mentorship, and performance designed to introduce and inspire brass and percussion players of all ages and experience levels. Participants will take part in rehearsals and engaging clinics led by members of the internationally acclaimed Fountain City Brass Band and faculty from the Fountain City Youth Brass Academy. The day culminates in an unforgettable side-by-side concert where all participants perform alongside the Fountain City Brass Band. Whether you're new to the brass band tradition or looking to deepen your connection, the Expo is the perfect place to grow, connect, and make music together.

Requirements

Brass players, please bring your instruments. Percussionists, please bring sticks and bell sets if you have one. Trumpet and horn participants are not required to play on standard brass instruments.

Finale Concert

The day concludes with a powerful side-by-side performance, free and open to the public. A goodwill donation will be accepted at the door to support youth music education and future Fountain City Brass Band events.
