Rachelle Roe

Rachelle Roe has 30 years of strategic communications and public relations experience with some of the world’s most high-profile orchestras, performing arts centers, artists, festivals, and arts events across the U.S. She possesses a unique perspective and understanding of both the niche in which the arts live and creative ways to bring it to the forefront today.

Prior to launching her own consultancy, Arts, Etc. Public Relations, she served as a PR professional in leadership roles at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, raising the profile of these organizations and building awareness for her projects, the arts, arts education, arts leadership, and community engagement through the arts.

Her clients and projects have included such globally renowned artists and institutions as the New York Philharmonic and the reopening of David Geffen Hall, the construction and opening of Los Angeles’ iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall and Hollywood Bowl, the Grand Teton and Ravinia Festivals, The Dallas Opera, Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Mutter Virtuosi, The Juilliard School, and many more.

Rachelle’s portfolio includes placements in a range of media outlets from Fox Sports (Game 7 of the 2019 World Series) and ESPN to NPR and the BBC; from the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post to The Times (London), Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal; from Architectural Digest, People, and Town and Country to AP and AFP; and everything in between.

Rachelle holds degrees in music from Washington University in St. Louis and Boston University, as well as a pre-college diploma from The Juilliard School. She is a dedicated alumna and volunteer for Delta Gamma Women’s Fraternity, and a passionate advocate for the performing arts. She is a member of the League of American Orchestras and Opera America, and served on the Board of Directors of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras (ACSO) from 2001-2007.
